What is a Hybrid Cloud?

Put simply, a “hybrid cloud” is a cloud computing strategy which enables companies to combine different cloud environments that are connected to each other. These cloud environments can be private or third-party clouds, public clouds, virtualized infrastructures, or a mixture of on-premises and cloud computing environments.

Hybrid clouds are configured to operate independently of each other, and data that is shared across the communication channels is highly encrypted. Hybrid clouds are incredibly stable since a company’s critical data and workloads are stored in the private cloud.
